Founded in Coburg, Melbourne Australia in 1959, Coffex Coffee was established to deliver great coffee to the local community. In 1997, Coffex’s founders decided to bring their passion and love of coffee to Malaysia. To meet the growing local demands of fine coffee, they set up their second roasting facility in Malaysia, which currently operates three roasting machines and two automated packaging lines. This facility produces an annual capacity of 500 tonnes of good quality coffee to meet the demands of local and overseas clients.
Coffex is very keen when it comes to quality, food safety, and traceability, which is why they have invested in an ISO2200 quality management system encompassing HACCP and Cropster for green bean management and roasting data logger for roasting consistency. From the beans to the brew, Coffex is passionate about offering only the finest quality coffee. They look for all across the world the best beans, carefully selecting and categorizing them as seasonal single origins to be savored for the purity of flavor or handpicked for their ever-popular range of coffee brands.
Coffex Coffee Roaster
Coffex’s roast makes the perfect bean even better. With over 50 years of experience, they use proprietary Coffex techniques and roasting technology to extract the finest characteristics within each bean, taking into account the soil and climate where it was grown. Coffex beans always start of freshly harvested and are packed on the same day in order to preserve its freshness. The captivating aroma and signature rich flavors across each of these coffee products is proof of Coffex’s superior roast.
Tea
Aside from coffee, Coffex also offers good quality tea that your customers are sure to enjoy. Coffex’s tea comes in two brands: Gryphon Tea Company and Serenitea. Gryphon Tea Company comtains more soothing herbal teas such as Chamomile Dream, Lemon Ginger Mint, and Hanami. Serenitea, on the other hand, focuses on bolder, more prominent flavors such as Serenitea Spice Chai, Serenitea English Breakfast, and Serenitea Earl Grey.
