Universiti Selangor (UNISEL) and Bukit Melita Sdn. Bhd (BMSB) are pleased to announce a strategic collaboration in sustainable agriculture and smart farming technology under Faculty of Engineering and Life Sciences (FELS).

Following the discussions between UNISEL and BMSB, the parties wish to establish the collaboration and explore opportunities to develop, support and enrich the research activities, education and training in the fields that will beneficial for both parties and the society.

The collaboration aims to bring together the strengths and resources of both parties, combining technical expertise and research capabilities. The project aims to focus on the development of incubator and apprenticeship programs including the use of area in Bentong, Pahang for the purpose of sustainable food security programs development. The partnership will also look into the collaboration on spin off company for Selangor Centre of Research on Sustainable Agriculture (SCORSA) training modules, sustainable products and for the development of greenhouse aquaponics system, known as SIARAH-UNISEL PROJECT.

The project will span a 5 years period and will involve the exchange of knowledge, research findings, and resources between UNISEL and BMSB through SCORSA and FELS. Both parties are committed to conduct sustainable research that in line with the sustainable development goals and meeting current scientific and professional standards.

Bhd. witnessed by YB Tuan Ng Sze Han, EXCO Investment, Trade, and Mobility held at Selangor International Business Summit2023 from Oct 19 to 22 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).
